From the late 1970s to the early 1990s I worked as an illustrator in London while gathering a rather informal understanding of typography.

Throughout most of my academic career (1993-2021) I’ve worked on a variety of design projects, most of them self-initiated. This has included publication design, book jackets, posters and ephemera.
